Terms of use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. About Parlatio
Parlatio is an app for practicing spoken Swedish through conversations with an AI. It is run by Matias Daguerre in Sweden. Contact: info@parlatio.app. Parlatio is currently free and in beta.
2. Your account
You need to be 16 or older. You're responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time from the menu.
3. Fair use
Don't misuse Parlatio: no attempts to break or overload the service, access other people's data, use it for illegal purposes, or use automated tools to extract content. We may apply usage limits (for example minutes per user) and suspend accounts that break these terms.
4. AI
You'll be talking with an AI, not a person. Its replies, corrections and feedback can be wrong or incomplete. Parlatio is a practice tool, not a certified course, exam preparation guarantee, or professional advice.
5. The service
Because Parlatio is in beta, features may change, be interrupted or be removed, and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. If we start charging for Parlatio, we'll tell you in advance and update these terms; nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
6. Content
The app, its scenarios and its design belong to Parlatio. What you say in your conversations is yours; we only process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy.
7. Liability
Parlatio is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app. Swedish law applies.
